This is the final battle. The future of all humanity hangs in the balance of the ultimate battle between the Titans and the Gods. Da-da-da-DA! (Dramatic music) In case you haven't been reading the Percy Jackson book series, you should know this series is about Greek Mythology in modern times. Anywho, on to the plot summary! This book starts off with Percy and his friend Beckendorf infiltrating the titan's flagship. (boat) They set the charges but are caught by Kronos (lead titan) and some monsters. Beckendorf sets off the charges as they're being questioned, sacrificing himself. Percy uses his water powers to escape, but feels horrible for Beckendorf and his girlfriend who is back at Camp Half Blood. Now the explosion destroys everyone on board except Kronos. (being an all powerful Titan Lord Dude Guy) Soon he and the rest of the Half Bloods must defend N.Y.C. from the oncoming Titan Army. (New York has the Empire State Building which holds Mt. Olympus.
